How To Stitch: Learn something new this Spring…

After a string of successful one day courses, Embroidery & Textiles tutor Marilyn Willis is returning to teach Stitch a Sampler: A Course in Embroidery. The course will cover several different types of stitches and techniques in detail whilst putting together a decorative sampler, which can be used for display but also for reference on future embroidery projects.

A lot of our courses involve machine sewing, so we are looking forward to the refreshing change of pace during this 4 week course. In our experience there is little more relaxing than some simple hand sewing, which combined with the possibility of learning something new makes for a very nice way to spend the afternoon!

This course will take place on Tuesday afternoons from 1.30pm – 4pm and we have two 4 week courses available this Spring. They work independently as two complete courses so there’s no reason why you can’t do both!
