Tana Lawn | Anna’s Garden C
Tana Lawn | Anna’s Garden C is part of our wide range of Tana Lawn from Liberty of London. At The Patchwork Dog and Basket we simply love Liberty Fabric. Its not only because the quality of the fabric is second to none, or because the legacy of the timeless designs is steeped in British textile history, although both of these are good reasons to hold the fabric in such high esteem. We, however, love it for its nostalgia. It seems everyone has a memory of a different print. Whether it was a party frock when you were 5 years old or the dining room curtains in 1982, Liberty fabric tells a story. It is also perfect for collectors of fabric. There are so many different prints, and classic designs are reprinted in different colour ways every year, along with new designs as well. Each print has its own history, and it is often the oldest designs that are still the most popular today.
Tana Lawn | Anna’s Garden C is from the 2013 Autumn collection called An Earthly Paradise, which is described as an exploration of the senses. This print is from the series that focused on scent, inspired by the perfumery department at Liberty’s. Tana Lawn | Anna’s Garden C is a large scale print, possibly the largest we have, and represents the different unusual flowers used in the perfumes available in store. This deign was originally used for a Liberty scarf
Liberty Tana Lawn is 100% cotton fabric, light weight and very fine. Tana Lawn | Anna’s Garden C is ideal for patchwork or dressmaking, and can be used for all other home sewing projects.
